▣ Abstract :

To enable the proliferation of multimedia applications over resource constrained network infrastructures such as the Internet, overlay networks, peer-to-peer networks, and wireless networks, in this talk, I provide a tutorial-type short lecture that proposes a distributed and dynamic multiuser resource management framework based on game theoretic approaches. The proposed approaches can enable multimedia users that repeatedly interact with each other in a dynamically varying network environment to strategically maximize their own utilities, or negotiate their resource divisions, based on their heterogeneous processing abilities.
