Jihun Ha (Ph.D. student) received the "Excellence in Energy Talent Development Award" in the New Industry Global Sector, presented by the Director of the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP) at the 2024 Energy Talent Development Program.

Jihun Ha, a Ph.D. student at POSTECH’s Department of Electrical Engineering (advisor: Prof. Youngjin Kim), was awarded the Director’s Award from the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP) for his outstanding achievements in “Solar Energy Fault Diagnosis and Output Control” technology development, recognized through his papers, patents, and technology transfer.

KETEP’s “Energy Talent Development Program” aims to address the imbalance in the supply and demand of human resources in the domestic energy industry and to nurture energy technology talent in response to changes in national energy policies. Each year, this program identifies excellent research achievements and hosts an award ceremony for the research teams and students involved.
