◈ Abstract : The electronic financial services such as internet banking, cyber trading etc. have increased rapidly. According to a report released by the Bank of Korea in the third quarter of 2011, the daily use of internet banking reaches 39million in number of transaction and 32 trillion won in volume. The proportion of electronic financial transaction contributes more than 87.9% in the total financial transaction.
The threats of phishing or hacking attacks are currently to be a hot issue in the security areas with the increasing of electronic financial services. Since of first hacking attack at Korea Exchange Bank in May 2005, there are so many accidents in the financial computer systems provoked, so the electronic financial security has become more important than the past.The goal of this time is understanding the current situation of the electronic financial services and threats. So, I analyze the cases of various attacks at electronic financial services and security policies.
