Doctoral student Seungsik Moon (Advisor: Professor Youngjoo Lee) won the Best Paper Award at the 2021 POSTECH-Samsung DS Industry-University Cooperation Exchange Meeting held online on Friday, September 17th.2021

Professor Kim Young-jin has been appointed as an Associate Editor of the IEEE PES Letter, an academic journal published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the largest academic body in the field of electrical and electronic technology.

Professor Kang Seok-hyung’s research team (Dr. Kang Ye-seong, Master Park Yun-ho, Master Kim Seong-hoon) transferred the invention patent to Samsung Electronics for 350 million won.

Master’s course student Lim Dong-young (advisor: Professor Lee Young-joo) won the Best Paper Award at the 2021 Semiconductor Engineering Summer Conference( held in Namhae from 7/12 to 7/14.)

Doctoral student Lee Min-ho (Advisor: Professor Park Bu-gyeon) presented a thesis “Least Mean Mixed-norm Algorithm ” at The 2021 Summer Conference of the Korean Society of Electronics Engineers and Awarded the Best Paper Award (Samsung Electro-Mechanics Paper Award).

Doctoral student Gunho Park (Advisor: Professor Youngjoo Lee) won the Best Paper Award (Naver Thesis Award) at the 2021 Summer Conference of the Institute of Electronics Engineers( held from June 30 to July 2.)

Master’s student Cho Gyeong-rae (Advisor: Prof. Rok-hyun Baek) presented a thesis on “Improving Program Efficiency of 3D NAND Cell Structure Based on Artificial Neural Network” at the 2021 Summer Conference hosted by the Institute of Electronics Engineers and won the Best Paper Award (prize money: 3 million won).

Jae-Young Park (Advisor: Prof. Young-Jin Kim) was selected as an excellent researcher at the Korea Electric Power Corporation.

PhD cours Student Lee Seung-hwan (Advisor: Prof. Rok-hyun Baek) was selected as an excellent student researcher at the ‘4th K-CHIPS AWARDS’ hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT), and Korea Semiconductor Research Association.(Prize money: 2 million won)

Professor Youngjoo Lee received the 2020 Outstanding Participating Professor Award at the 2021 IDEC Congress organized by the Semiconductor Design Education Center (IDEC).
